Re: Stiffed on a Dog Payment - Sorry Kentucky
Bev, we can say y'all as well as," you all" up here, too. If you are good people y'all are invited to " Come on up" It's just too bad some people don't adhere to the " my word is my way of life". I still trust most folks until they prove me wrong, then what ever it cost me I consider it as " buying them cheap". Hope y'all understand where I'm coming from. Hare

I'm really surprised this post has been allowed to go on as long as it has- sounds like a civil matter between two individuals. I'm not real sure a public forum is the place to discuss it. Sorry if anyone doesn't like what i say- everyone else has given their .02, thought i would give mine, especially when a bunch of grown individuals start throwing the yankee/redneck BS around! REAL mature folks!

I believe that Steve is trying to make others aware of someone in our beagling community who has not lived up to a deal. I see nothing wrong with that and appreciate the fact that he has brought this matter to everyone's attention. Additionally if it helps him receive his money as opposed to spending time and money in court than I see it as an extremely smart move. As far as the "Yankee" comment....it was the individual in question who made that comment. He has since apologized. If you find this post so immature you could have stopped reading on page 1...............huh didn't think of that did ya? Oh and on that note of being immature..........here ya goarkyhunter wrote:I'm really surprised this post has been allowed to go on as long as it has- sounds like a civil matter between two individuals. Yeah, i hope the individual recieves his money too. And thanks..ronnyg.....for proving my point. Still, all in all, the fact remains this is a matter to be settled between two people. As far as letting everyone know...well, everyone knows it seems like!!! Ain't America great?

I have not read this entire post but if I were Steve I would have done the same thing. It is nothing more than stating the facts and making others aware , after all isn't that what this board is all about ? Information & sharing knowledge. The reason it is still here is obvious ,Steve is being professional.

And probably get more results than in court. As you have seen even his superior doesn't take this serious. Hats off to you!!!

I've been trying to stay out of this but this very issue is one in which I have responded too before. The issue is that a man should be as good as his word and a deal should be able to be made on a man's word. I applaud Steve for following up on this issue and doing whatever it takes to show those folks who's word means nothing. One thing about this electronic age now days is that a phony can and will get exposed. For those who don't like the posting of fact then I would encourage them to stay off the thread because I believe these cheaters need to be outed. This law enforcement individual has broken the law as he entered into a verbal agreement with several people then violated that contract. Should this matter have been settled in a court of law the outcome would have been a matter of public record and possibly plastered all over the newspaper which is accessible by the Internet as well. This forum is accessible by the public as well so it's no different other than a little more specific on the issue.
