Ausable River Dogs

Post by FRENCHMAN »

I have a dog that is named Ausable River Bandit and the breeder is Don Clark. Anybody have a no. for him or know somebody that would. Or maybe somebody might know who might have owned him before I got him from a guy named Bob Potter. I would like to know the history on the dogs he is out of. Thanks Don LeCount Aka The Frenchman

I have a gyp thats Ausable river on the bottom side. Her's mostly goes back to Dom's Dougie. Pretty speedy.

I think if you looked around the nothern michigan hare site you might find some info there.

Do yuo have a ped on him?

I do have a ped. and that's his dam and sire. Who is George Hill and how do I get a hold of him. A nice hound, what I got to see, he has heart worm treating him now. I found out he had them after the fact. He has a mild case so I thought I would take a chance on him, even at 7 soon to be 8. I wanted a good out cross that will line breed into my Jack dogs. Thanks The Frenchman

Most of the Lake Ogemaw dogs and Meacham dogs go back to Ausable River breeding. Northern Michigan Hare Hounds. Most of the dogs in our kennel has some Ausable river back in there blood lines. All are about a 7 or 8 on speed. Have exclent hunt, good check dogs, run a pretty clean line. Handle good. Look to cross good on My primetime x turbo male. But Then I like the hare hound blood on cottontails have good luck with them.
send me pedigrees

My female(Magpie) came into heat. She is a great grand pup to Bright's Spirited Buddy. Grand pup to Buddy Spirit's. I think I will be breeding her to John Boy this weekend. I would like to know if there would be some interest out there for these pups before I make the trip. Thanks Ken
