Heat cycle question.
How does pregnancy affect a bitch's heat cycle? Will she go back to her regular cycle, or does it throw it off? Thanks ahead of time!
If you were on trial for being a Christian, would there be enough evidence to convict you?

Re: Heat cycle question.
My friends two dogs came into heat at almost the same (I'm talking a day or two of each other). After we had them bred the one went back to her old cycle, and the other came back in almost six months to the day after the pups were born. I think it just depends on the dog.
Re: Heat cycle question.
From what I've seen it depends on the dog also. I had a bitch come in once a year, I bred her and now she comes in every 6 months. I had another bitch come in every 6 months, I bred her once, and she came in 6 months after the pups were born, so 8 months after her last heat. I've also had them come in 4 months after the pups were born - 6 months from last heat. Just like women, there's NO use trying to figure it out

Re: Heat cycle question.
Thanks for all of the input. Looks like I will just have to keep an eye on her and go from there.
