Season Finally!

Post by BradWV »

Well, yesterday was the last day of the season here in WV. We loaded up and took a two hour ride to our once a year spot. It wasn't as productive as it has been in the past, but still a really great day! We harvested 14 in total. At around 4:30 the total was 13 and the dogs had one up pounding it. This poor ole rabbit must have zigged when it should have zagged! The pack fell silent for a short while, then we could hear a rucus down the hill where they had quit, after investigating what was going on, we found the poor ole rabbit stretched. I suppose the dogs knew it was going to be the last chase of the season and decided to go out it style by catching the bunny!

Looks like you ended the season with a bang :gunguy:
I hate to see the season end. This past month has been terrible weather wise here in Ohio. Too much ice. Can't wait until next year already. :D

beagleman06....The only problems that I had with the yotes was when the dogs decided to run them. Had a nice chase on one last Friday. I never can get the darn things to circle though.

Kyle shot one twice about the last of january, it was running up the path at him try'n to head the dogs off. If it was the same one that we tracked on the way in, its feet are bigger than my big males. (he's almost 16inch,and has a foot the size of a walker..lol)
