Panther, not sure if I am reading your post correctly. Are you suggesting something. If I am reading it wrong and you aren't, I appologize, but sounds like you are suggesting something.

i would have to say that these guys at this club call it straight up ..also they judge at all the hunts they go to...if you got beat you should accept it and go i wouldnt believe there is any funny business at all going on at this club...i have never attended a trial there but if i sent my hound and he got beat i would respect there decision because i havent seen otherwise out of these folks...just my two cents...if you dont believe you got a fair shake you should go to the hunt and watch for yourself and if you thought it wasnt right then protest it...bottom line is its easy to call cheat when you aint there...not tryin to rub anybody the wrong way i just know that these guys are straight shooters..

By the way, Denver Riddle judged the opens and he isn't a member of the club. Also, a member of the club picked up another members dog that was winning on 2 different occassions. yeah, that sounds like cheatin to me, LOL.

Thanks for the backing guys. Dont know either one of you guys personally, other than the other night Mark, but you hit the nail on the head about Chad. I think Preacher taught him to spell though, so can't blame him for not being able to spell. Chad runs his dogs more than anyone I know around here. He even runs mine and others to get them ready for us when we can't. Take your loss and move on. Don't try to discredit a person's win because you are aggrevated. I guess a home club member shouldn't enter dogs if we aren't allowed to win without being accused of home cookin. The last thing this club would do is want to discourage people from coming to our club by cheating. They are just guys who love running dogs and love meeting people from other parts. They try to give people the best experience possible when they do come here. I don't think it is cool for someone to leave a trial and go home on the puter and try to put down a club and its members. If a judge missed a call or made a mistake, it wasn't done intentionally. Like Yellowdog said, the guys that judge at our club try to help every club they go to by judging if they need the help. I can't tell you how many times they go to trials and never even get to watch their dogs run. They ran their asses off and went through the thickest briars imaginable to try and put the out of town guys in rabbits. Hell, one judges face was tore all to hell afterwards. And the thanks they get is a loser coming on here accusing them of cheating.

P.S. Hey Harmon, that was one mean looking cougar(I mean wild dog).

I went out every round just to watch. Because I only took one dog and she was a Grand. from what I seen the judges ran their arses off to judge for us all. They call it as they see it being done not buy what we think it was 50 years or more away thru thick cover . . . Hell they cant get everything and nobody can they do their best . . .

I thank them for that because I tried to help in a round and it was just to much for me, so my hat goes off to all of the judges GREAT job guys !

I own the Cole dog that took second in the champion class and he was glad to be down there running a rabbit. I am not a trialer only a rabbit hunter and Cole is a rabbit dog. I am glad there is a guy who runs him for me that enjoys the trials. I don't know if he will be taking him to the world Hunt or any other trials but I can say that Cole just likes to run. Maybe that was his last trial and maybe not, depends if the guy wants to trial him anymore. I am glad to see him place and I think eveyone who places should be happy and even if you don't place it should be for the fun of it. I must say though I am sure no judge would cheat for another man's dog but I believe if I was running a trial I would see to it that I had judges on hand from other Clubs to judge these final cast if someone in your club has a dog in it. It is not fair for a judge to judge and not be able to put a dog in the trial either. For the guy who won first in both classes you can see he works his dogs because he places alot of dogs. congratulation to him and all who place.

Lab, that is ridicoulous. What if dogs are in the finals from other clubs around???

I can tell you dont trial, or you would realize how hard it is to get people to judge.

My guess would be your dog got beat.

To settle this crap once and for all, when it came down to the two final rounds, we asked for judges. What we worked with, was what we had left. In the finals of the champ, we had two judges. One was from our home club and one was NOT. For the opens final, we had a judge from Ark. also NOT from our club.We always ask for judges to help out, its not our problems that nobody spoke up.

Mike I don't know you and if you read everything I wrote down you would see I don't trial or care if I ever trial. You would also see I wrote my dog took second at the trial. That little smart ass remark you had to make doesn't sit good with me. I don't know how hard it is to find judges, I was just saying if there could be a judge on hand maybe that would work out. I know how hard it must be to sit up a hunt and try to satsify everyone(And that won't happen). As I say I think everyone should be congratulated on sitting the hunt up and the outcome of the hunt. Now if anyone wants to ever come to Northern Missouri to run dogs I will glad to run with you.

Why don't you post your name panther? I judged the open finals, the dog that was the best that day in that cast won it, it just happened to be a local dog, and a good one. I drove 5 hours to the hunt entered 3 dogs and got beat fair and square. All of the people at that club are top notch and as honest as they come in my book. Not the smartest people(Chad) but good and honest. : :D
