Uno's money won't be made off the pups. My guess is this boy is bound for the silver screen, and many years of big-time media spots...and well deserved. He's a performer of the highest caliber, and after his merry reaction to that roaring crowd, I don't think there's much that will shake that hound's confidence.

My wife doesn't get into my beagles that much becasue they're "hunting dogs" according to her, but when she seen Uno on tv she actually turned and asked me to look into one of his pups for the house. I was totally shocked, so here i am now trying to find out how much do these "show" pups go for, and Uno's pups would be the best place to start.

Don't know what his pups would go for, but I'm dying to know what his stud fee is

Normally show quality pups are between $800 -1200 depending on the breeding, with $1000 being the median price. Pet quality pups from a show bred litter are usually markedly less. Money well spent. I am so hooked on show breeding!

Leah, you have no idea how thrilled I have been for you. Uno has a team that has gotten him where he is, but the breeders make it possible. You can honestly say your hard work has paid off!!!! Hugs to you and Parker from PA!

There will always be the ignorant. *sighs* Too bad we can't cull the human race for it...you know, thin the herd, lol. I loved Tamara's reply to them, though. Thought I'd better cross-post it here before they delete her post...and you know they will, as soon as they get up today...at noon:

You know if Peta and good responsible breeders could stop fighting each other animals would certainly benefit, but with the crazy generalized false statements I see on this website, now I understand. Remember people there are Breeders and then there are Breeders, I have seen the difference in 17 years, the show conformation people are not the enemy the backyard uneducated, irresponsible breeders are the ones responsible for the dogs in the pounds. I see the dogs coming into our clinic for adoption from our local pound and I can say that nearly 100% are mixed breeds from unplanned irresponsible breedings, basically the dogs that were pets that were allowed by irresponsible dog owners to mate!! I feel sad that people who are PETA are wasting their love for animals by alienating the majority of responsible people who would make you have a darn soil anaylsis before you could have one of their dogs, instead of combining the forces and going after the real animal evil doers, circuses, PET STORES etc... We love to show... he loves going, as we go for long walks and enjoy each other lounging in the motorhome all weekend!

Hey guys!!!! I was gone to Westminster too! Charged up the credit cards to go but I wasn't missing it for anything this year! I had a feeling about Uno...figured he'd win a group 1 at least I also showed my little 13" bitch and you can see us on the 13" Breed Video on Westminsters video page. We are #25. She's a youngun and I should have had her a little hyped up but she did very well, never set a foot wrong for me and I really can't ask for more, it was a WONDERFUL WONDERFUL WESTMINSTER!!!!

So HAPPY for Leah and Uno and his whole gang...which I feel a small part of and I have his cousin "Leigh" and his half sister "Laurie" so to me it's a selfish pleasure that he won for sure!!! I'm so glad it was a dog from Leah and Kathys kennels...and from Parker, my alltime favorite Beagle boy so far...besides my Joe Joe of course

Thanks guys! Leah and Kathy (Uno's breeders) get the credit for the breeding that produced this young bitch "Leigh" even though I "bred" her (shipped her dam "Mary" to Indiana to be bred) and whelped her myself here in NH...
Leah & Kathy whelped her dam and finished her at Nationals as WB in 2002. When Leah sold Mary to me Kathy picked out the stud dog Bill (a Buckridge dog btw) and I listened to their advice and got my wonderful pups Tigger and Leigh from that breeding.

I hope that's not too confusing

Leigh is a nice pup, Leah is a wonderful mentor..Leah and Kathy can breed awesome beagles and with their advice I have done very well but I don't forget who has helped get me so far so quick
