SHOW US YOUR BLUETICKS
Blueticks seem to be in a pretty good demand right now. I saw on a post where there was a" prettiest bluetick contest "on this forum ,a couple of years back. I would love to see some grown blue dogs. Maybe the winner from that contest would show the winning picture again. So lets see them blueticks. A little description of their hunting style would be interesting too. Thanks everyone.

Re: SHOW US YOUR BLUETICKS
RockyRidge Big Blue Bommer won that contest here are a few photo`s of her. The first photo is the one that was entered in the contest. The 2nd photo are her Sire and Dam and the 3rd is her and her pup. You can see more Blueticks by clicking the link at the bottom. Boomer has a exceptional nose ,she run a hare on pure ice when most can`t bark and she can walk a hare on the hot dry conditions. She has a booming voice which changes to a chop when hare is up and running, she has 6 ribbons in LP trials and will be trialed this season. Boomer is a medium speed hound who is always in where the action is.

Re: SHOW US YOUR BLUETICKS

this is tiny
she is half redtick and half bluetick
she is 10 months old and she will run with the old dogs, haven't soloed her yet.
once the rabbit is up she has a high pitch chop mouth that you can hear with any pack.
she has really good hunt and is a 6 or 7 on speed.
she is making a really nice hound, only time will tell.
she was about 7 months old at the time of this pic,she has filled out alot since then.

Re: SHOW US YOUR BLUETICKS

Once upon a time, a man asked a girl " Will you marry me?" The girl said " NO." and the guy lived happily ever after and ran his dogs as much as he wanted to.
