Everyone wants to censor these days, respectfully I don't see why some can't voice their opinions. If that's the case we better start a positive only stickie post for every bloodline, wouldn't that be the fair way to handle this? My giddy moment was when he took him out the for the judge and just looked around at the crowd like "me? you all looking at me? well here we go" I thought to myself "well judge here is the instant you were looking for" Not 30 seconds later the commentators echoed exactly what I had just thought. His personality just gleamed above the rest!

thats funny,i thought the same thing,when they showed the judge being escorted into the garden and the commentators said that the judge made the comment that the winning dog would let him know he was the one........

then when uno strutted his stuff around the ring like he was sayin,i am the man,hear me roar,bow down to my greatness i said,theres your sign doc

and everytime the judge went near uno,the crowd would roar louder and when he went to get the trophies,i heard the crowd yelling uno the beagle,the judge had no choice,like the commentators said,he was like a rockstar after winning the hound group,he had his own groupies and all,it was a slam dunk win,way to go uno,my neighbors prolly thought i won the lottery when the judge said bring me the beagle,i jumped up off the couch and yelled....

Yes, congrats to both UNO and Leah. The family and I stayed up to watch UNO take the win. The only problem my daughter wants to why our beagles dont look that cute. Once again congrats.

sav, what does stickying this thread have to do with anything? It was stickied because one of our board members is the breeder of this dog, it's the most prestigious show dog event in the world, and Uno had a chance of winning it (which he did). Has less to do with the bloodline than it did the magnitude of the event. When yours or somebody else's hound is up for an award such as this, let me know and I will sticky it.

To answer your accusation that I want to stifle discussion, I don't want to stifle it - just move the opinions and debates to a different thread, or start a separate one - I believe I mentioned that earlier. I cannot imagine why some would begrudge a fellow beagler a thread just for kudos after acheiving this kind of success. The whole board is open to start an debate/opinion topic, so have at it. I just asked that this thread be respected as a congratulatory one. Is that too much to ask? I think it's the "civil" thing to do.

Like most I eagerly logged on to read the views and opinions of my fellow beaglers about last nights grounbreaking win. Only to be told to take my opinions to another thread, didn't sit well with me is all. And I still believe it is a form of censorship, this time it's in the name of civility. No harm done I guess, and for the record I wasn't accusing you I was asking you a question.
