Really cool hunting story

While swamp rabbit hunting (at my honey hole ) this weekend. I saw something I guess I will never see again. The dogs had run a swamper until he had nothing to do but swim. And the dogs followed. With the water high they were having a rough time. So me and my hunting partner Rick watched as the rabbit got on a log to rest and ( yep, you guessed it ) so did one of my dogs. There they were sitting side by side on the same log. The rabbit to tired to run, or should I say swim, and the dog to tired to move. She would reach over and smell of him. That was all she had the strength for I guess. I always have a camera with me and was able to get a decent pic. After a rest the rabbit took aff and was shot. We had to wade in and get the dog as well as another dog that was having trouble swimming back to shore. Thought everyone would enjoy hearing this story...................Mike

If you are good with the pen, put the whole hunt on paper (or MS Word) and send it in to TAB along with that picture. The people that don't frequent this board should see that picture too!

yes i belive the story n pic would be great in any outdoors magazine thats the kind of storys i like to read real life hunting storys n that pic is one of a kind jb
