OK I'll see if I can get them in order and you can keep up.
I traded a 78 chevy 4x4 (no pix available) to this 94 Nissan the day I paid it off. My first brand new vehicle. Kept it from Aug 94 till mid 97. The chevy got 4mpg but at 63 cents a gallon back then I didnt think much of it.
With a baby on the way myself, the wife, and a carseat couldnt all fit so I found this 95 GMC and traded. By far my favorite truck and the overall best truck I ever owned in my life. 5 speed 350 19mpg round town & 22mpg highway and was built out the wahzoo. kept from mid 97 till Aug 04
Son gets a little bigger and decides he likes pulling it out of gear going down the road so I end up with my second new truck. We were in the process of building a new house and I didnt want 2 house payments plus a truck payment so I traded for this one. 2 weeks later we sold our first home and this truck was paid off. Had I known we would sell our house this quickly I would have bought this 04 silverado outright but thats the way the ball bounces. Still own this truck.
Second night out coonin I ran a limb down the side a suface scratched it. Didnt want to be buffing out scratches all the time I found this little 87 Yota and bought it for hunting only. Liked the way it drove so well I drove it everywhere everytime unless the wife and son both wanted to go then it the silverado. But like any good idiot I popped off a price to a guy that I felt was too high and next thing I know he is driving off in my truck. Huge mistake. Anyways, here is that ol yota. kept fro Jan 05 to Jan 07
2 or 3 weeks after I sold the silver bb I ran up on this 95 chevy. It ran well and was mechanically sound and all but it was a gasaholic in the worst way, at least on my salary. It drank it to the tune of about 10 to 12 (at best) mpg. Needless to say it had to go. kept from Feb 07 till last week.
Last week I found this lil 97 Yota and really love this little truck. Wont be popping off at the mouth anytime soon for a price on this little dude. Perfect hunting ride as well as my everyday vehicle as far as taking my son to school and driving to work and so and at 22.5 mpg I just cant beat it.
And when warmer weather comes back around this is what me and my son will be enjoying hunting off of.
