The Box looks like a really well made box at a fair price.

1 other thought, make the frame so it can easily be bolted together and the stainless sides, bottom and doors can be bolted on as well by the purchaser.

Everything you buy now days you usually have to bolt together yourself because of the same shipping issues you have discovered.

You literally could sell thousands probablly if you would do this. Ship it out broke down in 1 much smaller box. UPS would pick it up for you then

I would love to have one.

How about making a 'small' version w/ 2" trailer hitch adapter?

we started out bolting them together but everyone wants the frames welded and once you weld the frames you can't break them down. but thanks for the input.

The cheapest place I have heard of shipping a dog box through is Greyhound bus company. They have great rates I guess if they have to make the trip anyway they make a few extra bucks moving freight. If there is a local bus depot you can usually get shipping much cheaper than through a normal freight trucking company.

shipping

Try uship.com. This is independants that will hail, pull or move anything. Very competitive prices because the shippments are being bidding on. I have used this for shipping several beagles to me. Very pleased with the services I have received. Just had a pup and grown dog shipped from Ky. To Ms. today.
