above ground kennel size?

I currently have 5 beagles that are in ground pens. I am going to build above ground pens this spring or summer. I have my size but am not sure if it will be big enough. I am planning on building 1 total pen divided into 6 pens of 32 inches by 7 feet with a 2 foot dog house attached making it over all 9 feet by 16 feet. I am going to have 1 foot in the front for dog bowls and 2 feet infront of the dog house for the dogs to lay on. I am thinking about using the vinyl lattice for the floor or wire haven't decided. Will this be big enough? Should I build smaller overall pens instead of 1 16 foot? Thanks for any help.

i have an 8 foot wide by 10 foot deep off ground that has 3 runs . ihave a 6 foot wide by 6 foot deep off ground that has 2 runs and i have ones that are 3 foot wide by 6 foot deep. i like the the single run the best you can move it easily. i wounldnt build any thing bigger than 2 dog off ground personaly. 3foot by 6foot is a good size.i use dura bench for the floor it come in a 2x4 foot sheet so you need a sheet and a half then i use 2 foot deck boards for them to lay hers some pics. hope this helps.

Heres mine,3 runs 4 foot wide and 8 long . Works great with 2 dogs to a run and no wasted lumber.
