It looks stupid now and I keep having trouble with my password.

Boy, am I relieved. I was worried that folks would be polite and not speak what's really on their mind, for fear of appearing ungrateful...

After all, it's human nature to want to communicate our feeling - even when it benefits nobody but ourselves to do so...

I've got some feelings to communicate also... should I? shouldn't I? Oh, the internal struggles that one goes through in times such as these...

I'll tell ya what... if Bev agrees to it also, we'll refund 50% of anyone's membership dues whos put out by the new board. Sound fair?

I use Internet Explorer and only have dial-up connection (it's all I can get here). For me, the new look is fine, and is working perfectly on my computer. An added bonus, is that each page seems to load much faster now. Thanks Bev, Terry McBride

Chris provides the server and built this board for me way back when. I administrate it and pay for any extra bandwidth that might be pushed through my own website because of the board. (I've had to upgrade bandwidth 3 times). You folks all make this a very nice place to be, but please understand that Chris puts a lot of work into keeping us up and running - and he was up and running into the wee hours of the morning today so y'all would have the board ready by morning. Allow him to be a bit grouchy if somebody acts ungrateful. I will not tolerate any disrespecting of him here.

It is, afterall, kinda "schoolyard" to whine about this. The data's all still here - we just have to get used to looking at it, finding things, etc...just like we did when it went from the little drop-off freebie board I had, to the one you have been accustomed to using the past 4 years. I will play with the design/colors a little to see if I can make it easier to read. Chris doesn't dictate these things to me - I get to choose (to an extent).

Chris, if you gave me the magic key to stop spammers, I sure as heck missed it, or misunderstood it. This board has WAYYYY better features and options on the admin panel. Folks shouldn't have to wait long for activation. Thanks again!

The only thing I can compain about is that this REDNECK was just getting the admin. panel figured out on the old board and now I got to start all over again! LOL!

Bev, not sure about Chris giving you the magic keys, but back in 1996 I emailed you about all the porn and all the porn links in the memberlist and gave you the details on how to fix it so it would end. I also emailed you the way to remove all the porn trash in the memberlist with one push of a button. UKC was having the same problem and I contacted them with the info on how to fix it too as some of the links that these spammer post on these forums or links that is in the memberlist can cause damage to some people's computers.

You replied back that you didn't manage the forum as Chris managed the forum and that you would forward him the info. So I don't think you missed it.

I even posted a warning on my forum in 1996 about a week after we exchanged emails for my members to becareful clicking on links in the memberlist on here:

I think you should consider a paypal link that allows people to
donate to the web site . I'd sure give 5or10 bucks to have my
old page back . Maybe even charge $ 5.00 (OH NO my
dollar sign even looks bogus) per person to use the site .

I don't want to sound ungrateful but its a HUGE
change and if it stays this way I'll just have to get use to it .
Thanks for offering TAB to us , It's the only beagle communication

to learn everything well and then it all appears to change .
Don't worry Jamie it's not as bad as it first appears .

I do agree with S.R. it is very hard on the eyes I'm not
sure I could stand more than 6 hours a day
