Kurt, Shooter is in Indy, I do believe he's at public stud. Here is a link to the owners website.

That would be really something to get all the Shooter/Dinah pups together and let them rumble. (interesting idea) So you think you have the Barry Sanders out of the cross eh? Maybe you do, but don't forget about FC Snow Run Buell and Fld. Wnr. Snow Run Rita from the first mating. These two are the Brett Favre and Deanna Favre of hounds!

chapkosbeagles is extremely confident, I like that. Let me suggest to you that this weekend, in Escanaba, Michigan, Bay De Noc Beagle Club is holding their annual snow trial. You can witness your hound in competition with some of the best. "Don't Sing It, Bring It."

We really encourage great hounds like yours to participate in the Northern Michigan Hare Association. (NMHA) We feel this is the strongest association in the US.

I know you are just kidding, but I will post a response in general.

MAYBE, Politics/"Buddy Judging" is prevalent in other associations throughout the country, but I am 100% sure it DOES NOT exist in the NMHA.

I would like to get another pup out of Shooter. My pup that was killed by the trap two weeks ago was out of him.

Chapkosbeagles, Bob King comes from the Mt Pleasant area almost every week there is a trial. Also Jeff Goff from Diamondale just around the corner from you also comes to our trials. Give one of these guys a call sometime and see if they could use a co-pilot. Wouldn't hurt to ask.
As far as buddy judging or politics goes Joe is right, I don't believe or have we ever heard of this in our Asso. You may see alot of post from other Associations on here compaining about that but tell me the last time you've heard that from up this way or seen anyting posted on this site about us? Our entries are alway just a high as most Asso. or even higher.. You are more than welcome here anytime! I'd say the drive is about 6-7 hrs. from Lansing. Hope to see you soon! Dave Martin

Sorry to hear about your loss Schelppy! From what I can see you handled the situation very Good, It's real nice to see that there are beaglers out there that respect other sportsman's livelyhood!!..I'm sure Shooter will have many more pups to come. I'd talk to the owner of Shooter and ask him about some future crosses he has planned or a list of guys he's bred to Shooter. Dave Martin
