Not that I am in the hoy mix,but years ago I trialed with Steve Vantuinen and kept my dogs at his home whild going to college and one thing I know is that it takes a lot of money to compete for Hoy, so this will save quite a few a lot of money. the bad part is that it will cost clubs a lot of money. It also helps local clubs members meet a lot of people who travel. At the Michigan State hunt I met a guy like Tony Kildow (an outstanding sportsman in my opinion) Without Hoy he probably would not travel all the way to Michigan for a state hunt to me this is a downfall.

I enjoy the club hunts that I attend . When we go to club hunts I always hope some of the ''BIG DOGS" enter in the hunt . Some of us that don't care to attend a BIG 5 hunt or state hunt or "don't feel that they will be judged fairly"so we don't waste our time and money. We have great hounds too and when the "BIG DOGS" come to the small hunts looking for some points they meet-up with some mutts that can flat get it on . I really like it when the "BIG DOGS"get beat by the little guy. On dec.22 my flea-bag won the grand class at Atlanta he defeated the #2&#3 HOY runners . For the little guy that just as good as winning the world hunt to me. Maybe without the HOY everybody can be better friends and enjoy the competiton more not having to worry about being buddy-judged or pencil-whipped . I think if people judge other dogs the same way they would want their own hounds judged everyone could have more fun . When someone makes a post after a hunt it can say "GREAT FOOD GOOD RUNNING GOOD FRIENDS"

your right,sarahs birdie is the hoy for 07,she is the hound kevin monroe and forest took to the world for scotty and placed 3rd behind jessie and missie,then scotty saw he was sittin good for points and decided to make a run for it,he placed her 9th at the lil world and never looked back from there,and he done it all on his own,no manipulation,nothing,he picked the right hunts that he felt birdie would do well in with the right type of running ect.she was very consistent,after she placed 3rd at the world she was entered in less then 10 club hunts and the lil world,i am proud of him and want to take this chance to congradulate him,he is a good friend of mine,he did it right,and deserves it.

Like I said, I was just pushing danny's buttons because of all his moaning and groaning and stirring things up. It use to be comic relief but now it just gets on my nerves. Do you really think that I beleive Danny is anything more than a peon in this sport just like myself?

When you post threads that have something to do with things other than being cheated or screwed or whatever you call, you actually sound like an intelligent beagler. But when you post that crap, you just sound pittiful man. Never said you didn't have good dogs, but I don't think you let them talk as much you, and if you did, I don't think they would cry near as much. well i am not the first guy to post "how would you call it"threads,now am i,i watched different guys post them for a long time before i ever did,and the reasin i do post them is not to bitch,it is to see what everyone else would have done,but,as for the guys that posted the same type of threads,no one accused them of bitchin or whinin,but i get accused every time,that s ok,if your pickin on me,your leavin someone else alone,but the thing is,9 times out of 10,just like the last post on "the check",i am right,just like the one i posted recently about the check,and fyi,the reason i posted it was not to whine,it was to prove a point to someone else that accused me of whinin,if it had been called right,well,lets just say,there would have been a lot of whinin then

she is acctually an exception to the rule as far as scooter pups go,she is a true lp hound,rough as a cob,most scooter pups are fairly clean,but dont get me wrong,ol birdie will out hunt,out jump,and out check the best of them,she is a fine hound and a force to reckin with this march in the open class at the world hunt,i dont like rough dogs,but i would defenately own her,when nothin else can figure out the check,she will swing out there,grab it and go,and once she goes,good luck catchin her,that lil bitch can flat out carry the mail

I actually handled Birdie at the World from the 2nd round through the finals.

She has a TON of search, which is a common trait in Scooter dogs. But on an average, she is the exception since she has so much hunt.

She is by far the roughest running dog out of Scooter I have seen, most of them run very clean. In the semi finals at the world, she had the entire pack running a check behind through one entire race that lasted 15-20 minutes. She has a light, faint chop that the other dogs couldnt hear and she laid in on them. On the flip side, in the finals she was swinging so far on the outside during hard running trying to skirt the pack that it cost her the hunt and kept her out of the race.

But she is a nice little pack hound, that is for sure.

The female i have out of scooter is a lot like that she has a ton of hunt decent foot swings just enough good check hound the only down fall to her she is 12-13 inches tall if i decide to ever start trailing her i am not going to lead her to the cast sight i am going to carry in my pocket..lol
