Good running deer beagles
I have a black and tan beagle about 15in tall and a tri color beagle that stands about 14 in tall. They are both about 14 months old. They are both started on rabbits but have started running deer instead. They are not papered. They seem to like running deer better so that is why i would like to sell them. The black and tan has a big bawl mouth and the other has a good chop mouth.

If you lived in a state that you could use beagles to track deer you would not be telling this guy that. Many states let you use hounds to track deer and beagles are the best at that. Most us want beagles to run rabbits but remember the beagle is a dog to be used for many things other then to run a rabbit. Sounds like this guys got what a good deer hunter may want. He is not asking you to buy them so it best to not say nothing if you cannot be postive about it.

Re: beagles
I do agree, if you dont have anything nice to say don't say anything at all. But I do agree this isn't big game classifieds.. don't think you will find any buyers here.... Good luck selling them.lab wrote:If you lived in a state that you could use beagles to track deer you would not be telling this guy that. Chapkosbeagles,
What's with the attitude? This is a beagle board. The man has beagles for sale. They are adult hounds and posted in the adult hounds only section. I do not know about Michigan, but here in Kentucky we cannot use dogs to trail deer. Many states do allow that type of hunting. You cannot blame the guy for trying to make some money.
Haven't you ever seen non rabbit hunting equipment in the equipment only section? What is the difference?
