I am going to purchase either a pair of chaps or pants for my son and myself. Was wanting to know which you guys and gals perfer.

there is an amish man up here that makes the heavy duty chaps with the full zipper for 30 bucks a pair for adult and 25 for youth, i bought a pair 3 years ago and they are still in very good condition,,,,,,

pants.to me they feel better.the blue jeans made cabelas you can not beat them.my son and i have a pairfor the last 3 years.still look brand new.and i think they are about 39 dollars.mabe less,i cant remember.chaps seem to always want to ride your pants down.just my opinion.

I bought bibs from briarbuster. They are still like new. Some of the stuff I walk through would tear me up if I didn't have the full coverage...

I have both but prefer lightweight chaps. Pants are comfortable, but not as briar proof....in my opinion.

the pants i got from cabelas are brair proof.where i hunt you are in brairs 75% of the time.had a few other brands,and they could not stand the pressure.destroyed them.cabelas brand is the bestin my opinon.to each there own.

i have both n prefer the chaps except in the summer time mine were made by Wicks had them for about 5 years still as good as the day i got them doubled layered at bottom cant go wrong with them Wicks chaps n cheap too jb

FILSON CHAPS is what I bought for my dad for father's day. He loves them. They are brair water and wind proof.

I have brair pants my self. I still get poked by brairs once and awhile.

Go to your local outlet store if there is a vanity fair store VF Factory outlet they have alot of jeans and clothes i bought a pair of hunting pants that have the chaps on the legs for $10 with that price you can buy both

I have the pants but prefer wick chaps , and sometimes I double up and wear both.
