Anyone in the houghton lake area that could tell me about the snow conditions I would apreciate it. Depth and if it is crusty or not? Thanks

I to was thinking of heading up that way this weekend. All of the information that I have looked at lately looks like they only have 3-4'' of snow with another 3-5'' of fresh snow perdicted for tonight w/ temps in the high 20's. The fresh snow should make for some decent running.

birmi1nr thanks for the info. I have to put the trip back until next weekend. If you make it up let us know how it went. The fresh snow will make thing good as long as they don't get to much snow. Good luck and good runnin.

Up here in the Alpena area it was bad until we got 3 inches of fresh snow last Friday. The running should be pretty decent right now.
