hot spots

Post by J.Storer »

i have a dog here that is very itcht and has a couple of hot spots above her tail. She has no fleas or ticks. We brought her into the house about 1 month ago after being in the kennel for 3 years. She has had this before and it went away but it is hanging around this time. We have tried rubbing a bit of olive oil on her and giving her cod liver oil and bathed her with dry skin dog shampoo but it is not working so far and other suggestions?

Might try Sulfadene shampoo. You can pick it up at your local Wal-mart in the pet section. It works pretty well and is pretty cheap also.
