CHRISTMAS DAY HUNT

Post by patsmichbeagler »

Went out yesterday afternoon for a couple of hours. Took two of my sons out with me. We ran three two of them had half and hour to 45 min runs and one made the mistake of making a short circle to me. We only got the one but my younger hound did a great job.

Those are the best hunts. It's not about how many you kill! It's about time spent in the woods with friends, family and hounds.

Never forget that!

upper I'm going to hit it pretty hard this weekend. Didn't get out yesterday but a buddy of mine went out in the morning he said it started out real slow but as the sun came out it was great his 10 year old son got his first rabbit ever. I wish I could have seen his face. I'm trying to plan a trip up north for some hares I think for next weekend. Good luck and happy new year.
