heating dog boxes

i will be adding some outside heating tubes to my kennel boxes because i do not have an outside building......i was planning on building a box and putting an electric heater inside it (one with a fan forced air) and running a tube out from the main heat box with smaller tubes going to each dog box ( 4 boxes) so i will have 1 main tube and 4 smaller tubes branching of and running into the boxes....the main box will be aluminum and the tubes will be PVC...and the whole set up will be heavily insulated...my question is this....will the heat going through the PVC pipes create any fumes that may harm the hounds??
i may also be setting up a solar unit to power the electric heater....

There really isn't any fumes with an electric heater and the heater wouldn't get hot enough to melt the pvc (assuming you are using schedule 40). I would also make sure your dog boxes are ventilated anyway. You may also want to insulate the pvc so you don't loose heat before it gets to the dog boxes. Also check into getting a thermostat switch that you can mount into the dog boxes so they don't get too hot.

might change my mind and just build a box long enough and big enough to run the length of the boxes so the heat will move to the boxes on the far end easier.

i could use a 4 inch pvc tubing and cut it into each box...this may carry enough heat to the boxes.
