dont feel bad.we went around curtis area and got dumped on as well.when we arrived we had 3in.The first nite we got a foot, and it never quit.we ended up with 4 hare in 4 hunts tough on the dogs and tough on us,but it still beats work!we ended up going back home early and hunted cottontails.that went alot better.
LOL at that squinting eyes picture. Put some sunglasses on! It makes the snow glare much easier on your eyes. Also a warm hat on the head makes up for a lot of short hair too.
Nice pictures, I am way jealous as all we have down here has been rain and ice.

Oh and I almost forgot- "only four hare in four hunts"- what a tragedy!! Now what you have to say is that "numbers dont really mean anything- its all about good friends and good dogs" or something close to that!! That really sounds nice!

Hey concrete, I am not sure what you mean by your posts, but if you have something to say, dont beat around the bush about it dude...seems to me like you were making fun of our posts, put up or shut up man...take your hounds in 18-20 inches of fluff and let us all know how good they are....with pictures.

I was making fun of your post, not really the whole thing just that statement-its cute! That type of powder is not uncommon for my hounds, if its fresh it would be exceptional running- swimming or not- but they are what I call one dog days- seems you've figured out why I call them that!! Kurt

I tell you what...why don't you "make fun" of me in person instead of hiding online and smarting off...I live in Greenville, and I'm in the book pal.
I was just trying to talk about our hunting trip like so many others do on this board and its just great that you decide to make fun of two of us, not just me...you must be a real joy to be around. When our 13 inch beagles tried to run in the powder that was over their heads, yeah it was tough running and yes we did find out that more was less when it came to the number of hounds on the ground. But what I don't need is your smartass comments, keep them to yourself.

Hey Tony, sounds like we should have gone by and picked up Kirk for some dog power. If he has many days under those conditions to run his hounds, no doubt they could show ours the way. I would have loved to of had the kind of hounds that could run in what we had, I hated disapointing my nephew and am always impressed to see those who can overcome the obstacles where mine fail.
Kirk, you surely have some fine hounds.
We're working up a hunt to go back to La. to run some wild pigs again...
...maybe these sorry sacks can get it done down there...
