Sick B@$t@RD$ in Alabama!

Post by Honey Pot Hounds »

It's Open Season On Beagle Pelt wearers
My friend in Alabama said this happened there and it's a big deal. Someone skinned the live dog and it ran home somehow but had to be put down. People out there are all in an uproar! There are no suspects I gather. She said it's been on the news! I just found out.... here is a doctored up picture, they don't want to show the real one, it's that bad. Makes me want to puke. Poor poor baby, who would do that?

Reward Up to $35,000 in Beagle Abuse Case.

December 5, 2007

VINEMONT, Ala. (AP) - The reward money is growing for information leading to the person or persons responsible for a horrific case of animal cruelty.

Three animal groups say more than $35,000 has been raised for the Justice for Anne fund. The case involves the November 18th attack on a pet beagle that was skinned alive and later had to be euthanized. The incident is believed to have happened in the Providence community near Vinemont.

The three-year-old dog named Anne had her coat removed from the nape of the neck to the base of the tail and down to the nipple line. A second dog named Buttercup was also attacked. The beagle suffered lacerations around the neck and shoulder before apparently escaping. Owner Janet Rodgers said Buttercup is recovering.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Cullman County sheriff's office at (256) 734-0342 or call the Secret Witness Line at 734-0210.

I am no bunny hugger, but animal cruelty is something that just plain bothers me. What is the sense in it? They should hang whoever is responsible for this by their appendages and I am not talking about their hands and feet.

WOW, there are a lot of sick, STUPID people out there! I couldn't do that to any animal let alone a pet. We hunters always take a rap but at least we are humane. I know some cultures eat dog but I doubt they skin them alive. That's exactly what shouyd be done to the culprit(s) that did such a thing.

Oh good God :censored:

I'm no tree hugger either, but something like that just shocks me to the core. I'd like to euthanize the sick, twisted piece of human $*** who did this

Honey Pot I had heard about it and was sickend by the thought of such an inhumane act. I can't even look at the picture cause I know it would give me night mares not to mention I would be just sickend to the core. I just can't imagine the pain that poor dog had to endure not to mention hoping beyond hope that when she got home that her master could help her. Just to horrible for me to even process such an offence. And the horror of finding your loved pet in such a horrific condition, I would just die if I found one of my dogs in such a way.

That is the saddest thing I have ever heard of,,,,And if that happened to one of my dogs,,,and I found out who it was...I would wait near the court house when they are facing charges...and I would play JUDGE And JURY...I would shoot that SOB and plead mental anguish.....Bastards would PAY Big-time,,,Shannon,,,,,,,,,And I am so sorry you had to go threw such an ordeal,,sorry to the beagles that had to suffer!

Hi, Thanks for the offer but they weren't MY BEAGLES or I'd be out there hunting the punks myself and not writing on this message board :hammer:
I sure hope like heck they get caught!!!

Thats a very awful thing, commited by an even more awful person(s). Here`s something thats even scarier. Most serial killers often start with killing and/or mutilating animals....I hope they find this guy.
