Oh yeah the Big Ten is sooo tough, oh wait 2 teams lost to FCS ( formerly D1-AA ) teams including a team that had a chance to win conference in their final game yeah that makes it a tough conference, come on. No disrespect to tOSU because they did what they had to do, but Big Ten was not as tough as other conferences this year. Mizzou being left out is the biggest joke of all in the B minus the C S bowls they beat 2 of the teams that got in Kansas and Illinois. Illinois getting in because tOSU is in the title game makes sense but Kansas over Mizzou lol. Good luck to tOSU and LSU should be a good defensive game.

last year was an embaressment to the big 10 and to the OSU specificaly.I predict that it wont be this year.Every player that was in Arizona last year has had a fire in their belly all year. They are totally focused this year and the sweatervest has had all year to learn from the butt kicking that Florida gave.By the way didn't Florida back into the title game last year too.Should be a great game.

Steve,
Illinois put a beat down on the buckeyes in their own house, guess that makes them the best team in the Big Ten.

Does anyone know the record between OSU and LSU in the last 25 years?

You guys from Missouri deserve to be upset. Your team should be in a BCS game.

There is only one reason that LSU is in the game. The Bowl Cooridinator is also the SEC Commissioner. That is fact not fiction. Virginia Tech should be there because each time they lost it was to a highly ranked team at the time. But at the same time a two loss team should not be playing for a title. I say send the BCS to the toilet bowl and have a playoff.

I always see guys talking about strength of schedule. Basically, these SEC guys think the Big 10 has a bunch of wimpy teams.

BCS selection is also influenced by how much money they can make. OSU will bring in a lot more than Hawaii. I think it will be a win for LSU but not a piece of cake like Fla. had last year. Oklahoma is the best team in the nation right now too bad they won't get credit for it.

Big Mike-

Are you serious??? Do you even watch football? My guess- you never played a down in your life.

Lets see- Ohio State vs Illinois.......

Ohio State scores on second play....7-0
Illinois comes back on a nice run....7-7
Ohio State scores again....14-7
Illinois FUMBLES the ball on the 3 yard line....OSU recovers in the end zone and gets the ball at the 20, right? WRONG. Replay booth is sleeping, no review, keeps Illinois in the game or its probably 21-7 and headed for a route.

Lets see....Ohio State is in the NC, bash them if you want, but they are in.

Most beaglers on this site live in OH, KY, WV or VA. No teams in those states beat the Buckeyes this year, yet everyone says the Big Ten is so weak.

Virginia Tech cant be in the NC this year because they got a drumming put in them by LSU, by 41 points to be exact.

They said the Big Ten was weak last year, but the Big Ten matched up with 3 SEC teams in the bowls and came out 3-1. The only loss was OSU to Florida.

This year 3 big ten teams are in 3 big bowl games, OSU, ILL and UM. I may stand corrected later but I dont think any other conference has 3 teams in 3 big bowls this year.

WVU was supposed to be a monster this year, and this year was supposed to be a rebuilding year for the Buckeyes since (like every year) the NFL Draft takes its toll on Buckeye land. Preseason they were #2 and #3 ranked in the Big 10.

I could go on and on.

GO BUCKS
