Gonna use Thunder this spring. Ernie's male is too close. Looking at a nice Leroy male in Canada. Any feed back on Mystery Man, Double Boogey or Thundering Tomahawk? he is a brother to Andy P's Laika she was a great one for sure. I remember judging Sweet Magnolia in Canada, and Sassy Sally was a great bitch. They are all within a days drive of here.

I saw a bluetick male run two years ago that I liked. His name was Branko's Slingshot, he was off of Brankos Big Leroy Brown. I believe someone in either illinois or indiana owns him, but I can't remember the guys name. I only saw him run twice but he was the real deal.

Hey Mark
Kevin Wilson in Ky. has Branko's Thundering Tomahawk. I'm kind of interested in crossing one of my females to him and awhile back posted on here inquiring about info. on his running style/traits and how he's reproduced. Got quite a few favorable responses about him and pups/young dogs out of him.

Hey Mark,
I bred a Primetime female to Boggey recently. Got 2 really nice looking big males. There was a female in the litter bigger than either male, but it died at about 4 weeks old. I think they got a little too hot. Boggey is a complete rabbit dog. Not a high powered trial dog, but is solid top to bottom. Good foot, but not blazing. Good mouth. Great nose. Good jump ability. Very clean running on the track and can work a double back like a pro. He would be a very good candidate to breed to a bitch that is alittle too much on the edge.

Thunder is throwing some really big bitches. You can talk to Dasno about the one he has. I haven't talked to him in a while, but I'm sure he still has her. She is a full 15" bluetick. Her litter-mate sister also made 15". He has thrown several others in the 14 1/2 to 15 range so far. He has only been bred about 25 times so far, but I'm getting good reports all around. I will be keeping a few more this winter and spring off him. I have been talked into selling the ones I was wanting to keep, so I don't have any right now. The one that I did keep and start ended up being the weakest in the litter (his litter-mate brother has already won an ARHA Little Pack Hunt), but OH Well..........that's my luck. LOL!

Good Luck.

Ive been runnin' Boggey again, since his back injury in July. He's shown time and time again, he can come back from anything. He's got the heart of a lion. Hes not lost a step at all, still solid as a rock. Like Pete said we got a couple nice big male pups out of our Primetime female. Lookin' forward to seein' how that crosses up. He's got a lot of the old blood up close, I think he brings a lot to the table. He's not been bred a lot, but I dont generally advertise him a lot. But the people that have bred to him, have brought some nice quality females.

Mark it was good talkin' to you and one day I'll take you up on runnin' hare. Keep in touch.

I would like to thank God first for allowing me the oppurtunity to meet Mr. Dennis Cooke and touching his heart to allow me to bring Duke home to NC. Duke was bought originally from Branko as a pup, by my good friend Mr. Dennis Cooke of Nova Scotia Canada. He was ran extremely hard as a gundog and he also was placed in two licensed large pack hare trials, where he pick up a win and a 3rd place. (not too shabby for a gundog) Mr. Cooke then deciced not to try and finish him due to his own descision, but bred him only three times producing FTCH Rockyridge Big Blue Boomer and a few other placing dogs. Duke as an ol fella still has pretty good foot, good hunt, a head full of sense, a very powerful nose, and out of this world line control! I have decided to offer Duke to the public throughout the remaining 2012 year. Unless there are arrangentments made in 2012 for the first months of next year (due to a females cycle) Duke will no longer be available to the public. Thanks for considering the ol fella

Duke's stud fee will be set at $200.00 by private treaty with a negative brucellois test provided within 10 days before breeding.

(Here's a small taste of Duke's running ability. Watch how Duke runs the front of his daughter FTCH Rockyridge Big Blue Boomer and Riley. Duke grabs the check with authority in this short clip. http://video.google.ca/videoplay?docid= ... 9921974518)
