Ok, I learned something about tailset. i will try and get a picture of him on ground. We have a daughter that I just got out of training pen and will get a pic of her and maybe mother today. Thanks for advice. I have been told, by my friends that they could give me an old house cat and would probably win a bench show. this is my son standing this dog.

Can you get a better shot of his head? I would like to see his face. Ok Leah and Cindy, I know both of you have had them too, how much harder is it to finish one in AKC against the tris?

I think that it can be a little harder to finish a red/white but, not always. Seems to me that a R/W has to be much BETTER than the tri's to win. I have finished quite a few and been pretty successful with it.

It's much more accepted nowadays to "put up" red & whites so you shouldn't have any problems with a real nice dog. AKC show conformation judges want a basically level topline and a higher tailset than most hunting dogs seem to have. Most are big on movement too...but with head and tail carried proudly.

Males all sold, still have some females. These will be as close to dual quality dogs as there are in the country. But, of course I wouldn't expect anyone on this board to actually pay for anything, they would rather try to cheat their way into getting something for nothing!

Which is why I don't bother advertising here.

Larry, I don't think your pups are over priced, I think the problem is most folks on here under value what they have, they get in a hurry to sell their pups.
From Field to Show and Show to Field the way it should be

No TC they are give away priced. What I meant was the bad name the board is getting from stuff like the Fast Eddy/Spruce Ridge thread, and all the dog jockey junk peddlers. They can't all be telling the truth. I talked to some of the NC boys who went out of state to buy what was supposed to be good dogs. They came home with nothing they couldn't have got at the dog pound. Pretty soon nobody believes anybody on here and who can blame them.

Don't worry my dogs will sell and there will be no need to lie to get it done.
