Saving money by doing it yourself.

Does anyone out there go to say Tractor Supply or Rural King and buy some cow wormer, weight their hound accordingly and give that amount to their hounds, to save money rather go to the vet's office???

Casey you are referring to Safeguard. If you plan to but it in the cattle liquid you'll most likely have to order it from Jeffers. Tractor Supply carries the goat liquid which is the same thing but in a smaller bottle. Thats what I use and give it at 1cc per 5 lbs. of body weight for 3 straight days. Yes it is more economical than taking them to the vet.

Yes it is safe to use on pregnant dogs.

Safeguard or Ivermectin? Make sure you use the correct dose - Safeguard 3 days in a row, Ivomec 0.10cc/10 lbs. of dog, a 20 lb. beagle gets 0.2cc Ivomec.

i do most of all my own vet work it has to be really really bad for me to go to the vet. ive seewen up alot of dogs fixed broken legs you name it ive tried it.
