IF NOT I DON'T DO THE BREEDING I HAVE BEEN WITH THE OLE KINGWOOD'S -T-REX AND DANDY RUN NORTH STAR BLOOD FOR ABOUT 11 YEARS .HARD HUNT, GOOD NOSE,AND GOOD MOUTH USELY USED RIGHT .ONE THING I HAVE NOTICED SOME OF THE GUY'S ARE BREEDING A LOT OF NORTHWAY SPUR I DON'T KNOW IF THIS IS GOOD OR BAD DEPENDS ON THE FEMALE I GUESS BUT ONE THING I DO CONSIDER WHEN I USE OLE SPUR IS WHAT IS ON THE BOTTOM SIDE THERE IS A LOT OF HOUNDS OUT OF SPUR AND SEVERAL DIFFERENT FEMALES AND EVRY ONE KNOWS THE FEMALE CAN CHANGE THE WHOLE THING ..AFTER -11- YEARS I STILL HAVE A MALE NAMED PINE MT CHARLEY I LIKE VERY WELL SO FAR,, THAT IS STRAIGHT OUT OF T-REX AND HAS -3-CROSSES OF NORTHWAY SPUR ON THE BOTTOM AND HE IS ONLY -2-YEARS OLD .I PLAN ON BREEDING HIM A LOT HERE .....ENOUGH RAMBLING -----JIMBO GOOD LUCK AT THE TRIALS ..WILD BILL MASON GOOD LUCK -JUST PLAIN GOOD LUCK--HATFIELD COME DOWN AND VISIT AGAIN .I GOT TO GO EDD TALKED ME INTO GOING TO A TRAIL TOMMORROW-------------

i respect the time and thought that people put into their breeding programs,the best felling in the world is to breed dogs in your own kennel together and have success,me,i am just starting as far as my breeding program,i hope ten to twenty years down the road,i can look back on what i have done and smile,hopefully having a long line of champions to show for my work,now,i have only done a few crosses myself in the past cpouple years,they are young now,but have been entered in a couple trials and are placing,but more inportant than that,when i take them out and throw em down and pound some ground,i am pleased with thier ability,i am sure the wins will come when they get some age on them,but the best feeling,better than the wins i have,and titles,came last weekend,when i took a pup outta bandit,that i whelped,started and ran myself,put him in his first trial,and placed him,it was a good feeling,so,i feel i am doing so,methin right,i hope ten years from now,i have more than two or three outstanding hounds to show for my time and work,but if two or three is all i have,and if i am happy with them,well that is all that matters........

bottom line,breed what you like,if your happy,that is all that matters,right?

Now back to the subject Call me crazy but I agree with Vansickle, breed what you want and if it makes you happy, thats all that matters. Make the cross for you. I feel sometimes people have a circle and if you dont breed like them or keep what they keep, then you are ridiculed and talked about. Sometimes the little things can be made into such big issues. Enough rambling for now......

AND THERE IS NOYHING LIKE PICKING A DOG'S SIRE AND DAM BREEDING THEM RAISE AND TRAIN THEM THEN TAKE THEM OUT AND THEY DO GOOD --------I WAS PROUD OF MY SPARKEY PUP OUT OF POSTMAN TODAY HE GOT 3RD IN THE FIELD AND 2ND ON THE BENCH AND LOOKED GOOD DOING IT ACTUALLY IT WAS THE FIRST TIME HE HAD BEEN RUN WITH STRANGE DOG'S AND IN A TRIAL ALL IN THE SAME DAY MADE ME FEEL ALOT BETTER ABOUT MY DECISION TO USE POSTMAN ---------GOOD LUCK AND

oh yeah,you need to buy jimmie a gps unit for his truck for christmas,he called me last night about 40 miles off course and headin for cincinatti,we got him turned around and goin the right way.

he said once he got out of ky he was lost,i'm just glad we put our differences aside,plus i got to meet shorty today,nice woman,way too purty for abshire though

RUFUS are you in charge of the paper work now. Do you have an email address I can send the pedigrees to. I sure hope the bitch can get approved. I have several stud dogs I want to go watch run and research. Those studs may not be an approved stud and I might have to get you to make sure the Pete lines up just right before WE let them breed. TIME(pun) is of the essence to me. She sould be in in April and I would like to get started planning now. Ya know gotta get my PROGRAM together.

Thanks for the info sickle, yea oh shorty is a handful, keep her away from the bullets though.We still had a good time saturday.Drove for 6 hours and ate mexican.You are right i am gonna buy one of those gps things or
