i have a prop male. hunts very hard, catches a few and is a good jump dog. runs a very fine line and cleans up a lot of overruns from the middle of the pack. he is a full 15, 8 yrs old. has ran 12+ hours on hare and was still going when caught. 2 first 2 seconds in 7 trials and the reason he didnt finish is im not a trialer. sam

Yes, she'll be 16 in March. She's still pretty spunky too, once she gets moving. She's a little slow to get out of the box, but perks up real good once she gets going. She eats good, too; and is hard of hearing now. [/quote]

I had littermate to C.Comtrol. Very good dog and threw good pups. I sent Henry back to Branko. I am running his get now.The reason I sent him back is, I said I would give him back whenhe got some age on him. Good hound. Lots of miles on him. Never ran in a trial, but come out top in many free for all hunts.

Brookesides male Dinkey Diablo is a really nice male. I ran with him when he was younger. He has hard hunt with good speed and check work and a strong nose. I have seen some nice pups out of him too. I think his mother is Branko's Lavender Blue, which is out of Ali Baba, if I am not mistaken. He is a real dog.

Dinky is out of Branko's Lavander Blue and she is out of Ali-Baba and Branko's Crispy Crunch. Dinky turn 9 years old in May he might have lost a step or two now but he doesn't look like he is a day over 5.

SGC, post a pic of that charming old lady, I have never seen a beagle that old. Just goes to show you what wonderful care and attention you gave the gal all these years, and she obviously earned her place in your kennel & heart. You got to respect a dog that gets up every day at that age and loves life.
