You guys are not utilizing the North American Beagle website like you should be. :whip:

Here's an excerpt from my write-up on the AKC LP Nationals:

At the close of the trial, Tex Dowlearn had won the little male class with NLPC, FC Tex’s Tug Hill Dark Raider, making him a 2-time National Champion. Mike McPherson’s Hunt-Em-Up Magnum Suzie won the little bitches. FC Townline’s Foxy Fancy (owners Bert and Annabelle Yaunke) won the big bitch class. (Tom Cheney’s 4th place in the big bitches finished Sabattus Mtn. Echo for her Field Champion title.) Steve Mikkleson from Michigan won the big males with FC Riley’s Rolling Trails, and Art Beamer came in second with Viagra. I won my bet with “Giggler” – Checker placed third behind his half-brother.

Viagra was funny to watch when it came time for photos. This dog has won or placed so many times in the U.S. and Canada in 2005/2006, that he automatically walks to the front of the bench and stands front paws up on the bench to be posed. Art told him, “Not this time, Viggie. You took second.” Viagra stepped down, moved one position back, and stood back up on the bench. No kidding, there were plenty of amused witnesses who can attest. This dog can see in color, and his favorite color is blue! Besides being a crowd-pleaser, Viagra has become known on the circuit as a straight up, a hard running dog. (Snickers to self.)

An interesting observation about those two dogs, Viagra and Steve Mikkleson’s hound, is that the weekend before at the Canadian Nationals, their placements were exactly reversed. Viagra won the big male class, and Riley’s Rolling Trails placed second behind him. When you consider, these dogs were run under all different judges from 2 different countries, it speaks loudly for the consistency, quality, and conditioning of these fine hounds. A good dog is a good dog, and a good judge can see it.

Heres' the link to the whole article:

Reggie was well on his way to making IFC as this was going on. Viagra had his IFC, and Trials is breathing down their necks for his IFC. As I said in another topic, we are living through some rich times these days. There are some mighty fine dogs out there right now, and I wouldn't call one better than the other. Great talent, opportunity, and a dash of luck. We all need it, eh? ;)

FC HILLS PRIMETIME TRAILBLAZER IS OWNED BY BRANDON HILL OF KINGSTON OHIO,NEAR CHILLOCOTHE OHIO,BLAZE WAS THE 2006 HIGH POINT HOUND OF THE YEAR IN MIDWEST SPO AND THE BETTER BEAGLING HOUND OF THE YEAR,HE IS OUT OF FC BENTS PRIMETIME AND FWR HILLS HARDROCKIN WENDY.

I HAVE RAN WITH BLAZE IN RTRIAL SITUATIONS ON A FEW OCCASIONS,HE IS A HARD HUNTIN BIG NOSE HOUND THAT MAKES NO MISTAKES AND JUST FLAT OUT RUNS A RABBIT LIKE A RABBIT SHOULD BE RAN,EXCELENT LINE CONTROL,AND CANGET OUT FRONT AND HOLD THE FRONT WITH ATHORITY.
BRANDON IS ON THE BOARD UNDER HILLS BEAGLES,YOU CAN HIT HIS PROFILE AND GO TO HIS WEBSIGHT AND GET A LOT OF INFO ON BLAZE THERE,I AM SURE IF BRANDON OR SOMEONE WITH A LIL MORE COMPUTER KNOWLEDGE THAN I HAVE CAN POST A LINK.

Brandon needs to get Trailblazer in the next issue of the stud book, no doubt. He belongs in there with the others *nudge-nudge*.

I'm definately not trying to start anything...as I'm not familiar w/ this dog Trailblazer, or his owner, but just checked out his pic. and maybe its just the angle or the pose, but he sure is built more like a bird dog than a beagle IMHO.
