Alaska Dall sheep hunt pics

Post by coolbrze »

Here are a couple pics from my brothers last Dall sheep hunt in AK. He works as a big game guide part of the year and loves it. The 1st 2 bear hunts this spring, they took massive brown bears but unfortunately I don't have those pics on my PC. Hope you enjoy!

Nice picture... Did he plan on eating the kill or just trophy hunting instead?

I have been up that way once and did some salmon fishing. Absolutely beautiful country up there. Some day I may be able to do a guided hunt for something as awesome as that.

Thanks for sharing.

For the Dall sheep hunt, my brother was the guide, not hunter, so I don't know what they did w/ the meat, I would assume they ate it, and this ram is def. going up on the wall. I do however know all the Brown Bear they shoot, are caped and not eaten, the meat isn't good, it's full of bacteria and doesn't taste good.
