My dog didn't do to well on Canidae either, but I know it's a great food and one of the less expensive feeds of the "premium" brands.

His problem was that foods with too many ingredients made him itchy, and gassy. He never stopped itching and stunk up the whole place back then! lol

the other benefit of some brands like Sensible Choice or Canidae is rebate programs. For every 10 bags I buy I get a same size bag free. So I get 80 to 120 lbs of free food a year.

Mine eat so much grass, where they poop looks like Hatfield ,or Johnny Mike spit out a chew of Levi Garrett.

grapes can cause renal failure for unknown reasons. so no grapes or raisins. carolyn

She is right, they can cause renal failure. But the bad part is, it can be random. MIght not effect 3 of your dogs, but might kill the 4th. More dangerous then chocolate they are finding out.
