Ready. My young Gus dog from Dale Barnes needs to the hear the roar of the 870 and taste some fur. My patch Billie needs fur also, and my 9 yr old Mikey dog, I'll take it easy on him.

Going to get an early season hunt in Iowa, and late season one also. Probably hit GFW a couple of times.

We have to wait until mid November for rabbit season, but I will take an order of that cool weather. It is supposed to be near 100 everyday this week here in Hells Kitchen. I have been running early and late all summer and I think the dogs are ready. I now have only five runners and the oldest one is 4. My quantity is low, but I think quality is at the highest level for me. I will probably run a handfull of trials this fall to pass the time. Might even have one or two dogs that can be competitive if some luck can shine on me !
