You know how it is these days these beagles traders around here will not give you anything. Even the culls sale for around 200 to 300 dollars. Nothing comes easy in the world of beagling. At least thats what i have found out.

Stick a fork in'em Hate to see ya concede like that Blair, you could've always humbled yourself like most of us that had plugs and got our brains beat in every time we went somewhere other than local. Call it bandwagon, I call it tryin to get better . You have had the privelege to run and gun-hunt with some of the best dogs around. Wish I could've gunhunted and ran with ole Buzzsaw from the time he was a pup , because it wouldn't have taken me long to figure out that I wasn't even in the ballpark. I was fortunate enough to run with ole Pine Mt. and see what his line of dog brought to the table, and then meet Maple Valley and see his dog run 2 or 3 times and decide that I wanted to try and find a couple of females to breed to some of the old Pine Mt. blood and hope for the best. Who knows, maybe I should've just took my money and bought a field champion, but I have seen a bunch I wouldn't feed. JMO

P.S. Even the ole "Possum" George Jones sang about "Having Choices"

Mex my head was in the trash at the Indiana State for sure. I havent been right since. Good luck with Ol Nasty, hes got a world of potential for sure. See ya on I-64, my friend. We'll be driving the possum around for his retirement tour, bad back and hips and all.

The only choice possum has is to get better and still be able to breed. I have lost the heart and soul of my pack of big males, hopefully he'll pull through, good luck on your litter from what I have seen Junie is showing he's reproducing. And by the way Hatfield I owe you one now.
