Northway Slim Jim pups ??? Information ???

Post by JUDE »

Does anyone know of any pups or older hounds Northway Slim Jim has on the ground ? How old are they or how they are doing ? Has anyone seen him go ? I know he's at stud in Kermit but would like to hear what others have to say as well ;) .

Thank you ,
Buddy

I owned one of his pups. Was a hard hard hunting hound. Other than that he was kind of looney. lol Just did not have the foot to hang. Probably would have made a good hound if hed been ran with medium speed hounds.

my buddy bred a female i owned to him a few years back out of chimney hill driver.
he said the same thing, they hunted hard but where babbling idiots, the same female has been bred to primetime and my bandit dog twice with outstanding results,so i dont think it was her.

it sould have been a result of too much line breeding cause she was heavy northway top and bottom, too much of a good thing can be bad,

now i ran against a hound out of him in akc,he won the hunt that day, real nice dog, neels eli was his name, owned by paul neel,he was a nice hound.

Brianne. Dont get me wrong I know Slim has and can reproduce. Bred out of this world. Pup just lacked foot. But hunted as hard as any dog ive owned to date and would jump the crap out of rabbits. just got to where he opened too much in the check and ole Ji and Krissy was really stringing him out.

THats a nice looking dog there Jude.

I had a pup out of Slimjim and a Haunted Hill Shaker female. Worthless! Woudn't start, no hunt, no voice, she could have cared less about rabbits!
This pup was one of a pair purchased from the Northway Kennel out of the same litter by a freind. His pup was worthless too.
