I don't know about the rest of Junie's pups but I like the one I've got, fast and pretty clean too. Don't know who in there right mind would spend 1200 on one though On the other hand I've also seen a very nice male out of Reggie this year at the world that ended up placing pretty high. reggie doesnt have to prove any thing to any one. i would sugest that jim gets junnie ready and run akc midwest with him then. some times u boys from KY think u have the best hounds on the planet. i would be very carefull making thoses claims. there is some great hounds all over this country. i know there are some great dogs in KY. just like there is every were.

It is true Reggie has nothing more to prove. He has done more than any hound that I know of which is a compliment to the dog and the owner. He has everything to loose if he is ran anymore, grudge matched or in any registry.

I also agree there Bill. June has won and placed several times in AKC. Ive told Jim for a while that he needs to go ahead and finish him. I doubt IFC is in the works as Jimmy dont have the time or funds to pursue it and I doubt he would farm him out to get it done.

As far as the best hounds on the planet. Ive not heard that coming from these guys or especially from me. There are some good dogs in all states and Canada. The dogs we are so High On down here can trace there heritage from Northern Hare Bloodlines, so in reality when they are bragged up it complimenting the kennels and breders they originated which is from New York, Michigan, Canada etc. Yes some talk them up a little too much but you should hear the BS that gets thrown out when they are fun run and gun hunting. You got to have thick skin and hip waders to go to some of these events. But they are a blast. WE ALL EAT CROW at one time or another. For the most part it is done to get a rise out of someone in particular but mostly done in good fun.

If you ever read my posts, I give credit to hounds that deserve it no matter where they are from. I dont hit the trial circuits I just fun run and gun hunt for the most part. I like good dogs no matter whos they are. I like it better when they come off my leash but a good dog is a good dog. If I run with someone several times and they hand me my lunch each and every time, I guarantee I will be getting some of it. Personally I do like to see June do well as I knew June before there was a June. That cross was talked about 9 yrs ago and the results were predicted. So I probably am a little biased. There are a handful of hounds out there right know that I really hold in high regard. There would probably be more but I dont get out much. The best dogs on the planet are probably not being promoted in the trials. Id venture to say they are in some old no named gun hunters kennel and probably always will be. I am always looking for them...lol

For the record Im a Tennessean by birth and will always consider myself such. GO VOLS!!! I have found since living in KY for the last ten plus years that when it comes to breeding or competition with animals KY takes it serious. Whether its race horses, show horses, cattle, fighting roosters, pit bulls, beagles etc. They take it alot more serious as a whole than any other place ive lived or visited. So dont hold it against KY when braggin starts cause you cant truely judge any one person by these chat boards. Only when you meet them in person.

Ive even heard Vansickle is not that bad a guy in person. But he seems to love to have drama in his life. He also strikes me as the kind of guy Id like to hang out with if i found out I only had two days to live. That way it would seem like a 100 yrs and Id be ready to go.

well ran for 5 1.2 hours this morring got my butt spanked bye a world champion open class 07.....anyways..... i rem the frist time i ever layed eyes on junie Jimmy brung him down for some nite runin in 100 acres of corn, we had a heck of a time ran rabbits and drunk beer all nite long, the dog looked pretty good back then for a young dog,,,,,it would be nice to see a few more hounds around these parts finsh for IFC but that cost some Big Money or have been told proubly will never know but dont want to know

acctually,there are guys up north that you can hire to trial dogs for ifc,it does not cost as much as you would think.

i watched missie run,awesome dog,what does she need to be akc fc chris?last i heard was only 5 points,is that right?

she could easily make ifc,she has the foot,line control,hunt,ect.she has what it takes,i have had a few guys up here tell me that.

Hey Danell , welcome to the boards dude . Thanks for the encouragment I will just have to find out what all I have to do then go for it . I never liked getting into something without kowing the rules and judging would take care of that . I really liked having you and Brad out there in my cast . You're both top knotch guys . Oh yea I have a dog that will come to me now . He's not ready to win but I'm still working on turning loose a goodun yet .

Yeh I think I stepped on some toes also when I said June is the best dog in the country. Poorly worded. What I was trying to say is basically what D.V. said in the post following. I put more stock in a dogs ability to produce dogs of his type or better than I do in the dogs themselves. Reggie is undoubtedly a fenom and has proved he can get it done in the breeding shed. June is just getting started. I want to see this heads up match. If its to risky to cut em loose, than find someone with a big pen and turn em out. Keep the e.m.t's on hand to monitor heart rates and keep em hydrated and lets see who quit's first.

ya she only likes 5 points, i watched her win the akc hunt at centeral ky hands down no questions ask, she put my butt back in the truck.......watch that old hanks sugur camp driver dog make akc FC in just 6 hunts....to bad that old dog is gone i sure miss him this hot dry days when dogs can not track a rabbit for nothing

I don't say alot on this board, I mostly set back and read what everybody else has posted. Most of the stuff is silly and all fun and games. First of all I have ran with JUNIE and was pretty impressed. What impresses me the most was his stamina. Good dogs run right with him the first couple of hours, but the last couple of hours he just destroys them. He just CHECKS their guts out. He is one of the best check dogs I'VE ever seen. If you dont believe me go run with him. HE WILL MAKE A BELIEVER out of you. AND BY THE WAY I DONT BELONG TO NO CLICK NOR DO I WANT TO. The dog and owner deserves what titiles they earn.

Yes he probably wasnt in his best shape but you know as well as i a win is a win.I find it funny that the dogs you list for a run off,they all have more them just winning a world hunt in common??????????What is it Danny?????you know come on,you can say it????????Thats right,say it with me.THEY ALL 5 ORIGINATED FROM OR ARE STILL IN THE GREAT STATE OF KY If you used little pack rules to judge these 5,droopy or bj would top my list and droopy winning,especially in indianna,bitch is a machine out there.If its akc,i feel a toss up between the other three with either one of them pulling it out.
Bill (flint river) i never brag my dogs up,feel they have spoken for themselves pretty well.I am proud of each one of them,even the ones that has never seen a trial,i have tried to always be a good winner and a better loser,not always been happy about the way i have lost sometimes but i least had enough respect for everyone involved not to get on a gossip board and anouce it,either way.
So when you make a comment about "ky boys" i feel you are including us all and take offense to your comments.
I have never seen Reggie go in the field,but have heard nothing but good about him and NO i dont pay much attention to some opinions of him,i listen and make my own judgment based on who the info is coming from.I trust Jimmy's opinion of a hound and he has had nothing but good things to say about Reggie,so based on his opinion and a few others i trust i have a pup booked out of Reggie,but in the same thought i have a litter on the way from June.And as mentioned back in this thread,i will judge both reggie & june hard,not on the performance in the field but what they have to offer in the line of Production.
Kevin and Jimmy are both great people,and very deserving to own these hounds,i hope both hounds go on to be legends for us to talk about for many,many years.
I am done with this thread,for it makes the second time that this thread has went off topic,when it was supposed to be a congratulation thread to a hound and his owner that won the 07 world hunt.Regardless how some feel he won it,he is still the winner and will be remember as one of the best,right along with all the others that have won it.

Shew glad i dont have a computer at home.Danny for the record, ol big lake blue boy is 0-3 against my stock.Junie is 1-1 against reggie not only would i love to run against reggie i would like to hang with kevin he is a ledgend . As far as your pms to several of my friends , in my eyes ur a backstabbing big mouth. You want to pump up kevins dog when he could care less. You talk to much danny. Why you have chosen me to run down i have no ideal. As far as stretch is concerend I dont do 30 dog hunts , i am busy. See i got my life it includes family and work. I listen a lot instead of talking .Maybe you should also . Thanks for the kudos from my friends , all i can tell anyone is ,I dont have a problem should you like to come and run with me.Open invite.My dog is in his prime and will be campained in several formats if times are right. I dont have the money to send him north even though i think he would eclipse any title layed before him.He was bred years before he was born, that means more to me than any purchase.
