i bet you guys want the same judges that judge junie at the world, or you can have jude he likes to kiss a$$

ice it dont matter who judges. id suggestion asking for volunteers from AKC and ARHA. Let the hound owners go thru the list with a mediator and cull judges down to say 10 each registry then put them in a hat and draw five from each registry and split them up. If you run long enough there is no doubt which is the better dog. or even better drop them in the morning and see which one quits first. two good hounds it would be interesting to see which one has more guts. both are nice hounds.

Boys, I'll tell ya what. I went into this bloodlines with an open mind. Heard alot about the Mt. Zion Pete dogs over the years and decided to see what all the fuss was about. Hands down they are the toughest dogs with the most endurance I have ever run. June is carrying on that tradition. I would put him at the top of the list for best dog in the country right now, not because he won the World, but because he can flat run a rabbit and is throwing that ability to his offspring. Jimmie, Will, Lynn and Rufus are the guys that have the most influence in the dogs that I have run from this bloodline and these boys have it dialed in. I think Ol' June is gonna launch their breeding program into the next generation. Chester lives on in this dog.

Oh and in case ya haven't heard, June crossed into Buzz hit. 08' will expose just how big it hit. I won't be making any moves without talkin to these guys first.

i agree somewhat with greg h,offspring will determin a dogs worth more than anything.

reggie did accomplish more in 13 months than most dogs could do in two lifetimes

and june winnin two big fives speaks for itself,very impressive.

but lets see who's pups accomplish more,now that is something to brag on.

i was told a june pup sold for 1200 bucks recently,well,if that is true,either he is throwin good dog or someone just likes to spend money.

but lets see how these pups do,the trophies june and reggie have at home does us no good,their ability to reproduce does.

the last two world hunts have had reggie pups in the top five both times,and one has already won a state hunt,they are winnin in akc,nkc,and ukc,so it would be safe to say he is reproducing nicely.

as for pitting the two against each other,that is up to the owners,sure i would love to see it,but look at what dog june is being sized up with,what about missie,or droopy or any of the other world champs,hell,bj won the world and was right back in the finals again,missie has been in the finals three straight years,droopy has won two big fives also,everyone is fast to breag up june and compare him to reggie,what about the other dogs,?

i think the fact that everyone is putting reggie as THE DOG TO BEAT,speaks very loud.

lets see what thier pups do,that is the best way to settle it.

danny you are the one that keeps throwing Reggies name out. why not run them, both dogs are the same age, in there primes. surely reggie has more rabbits to run. think it would be one heck of showdown. i dont know Kevin as I would like to at least rabbit hunt with Reggie just to see him go.

i agree NKC should have a trial for Big 5 winners only. Combine Champion Class and Grands. Run them longer than 1 hr casts. Let the cream rise to the top so to speak.

anyone that thinks there dog got beat by June at the world by pencil whippings, should call jimbo up for a rematch. i am sure hed oblige. he is competitive as heck at the trials but will be the first to shake your hands if his dogs get out done.

all and all trials are suppose to distinguish the best rabbit dogs. Not stroke egos.

Time will be the ultimate deciding factor on reproducers. Reggie seems to be reproducing. I am sure with the number of quality bitches going to him he will throw some nice hounds.

reggie doesnt have to prove any thing to any one. i would sugest that jim gets junnie ready and run akc midwest with him then send him north to finsh.if he can get it done then get it done. reggie is one of a kind hound and i would be very carefull were he gets run. and who he gets run with.i have never meet jim or junie so i wont judge what his abillity is. same for reggie, all i know is what reggie did in a very short time. AHRA is not AKC. they judge on jump strike check. AKC judge on the abillity to run a rabbit. ahra does not score on that. some times u boys from KY think u have the best hounds on the planet. i would be very carefull making thoses claims. there is some great hounds all over this country. i know there are some great dogs in KY. just like there is every were.

i would love to see them head to head,but like bill said,reggie needs to prove nothing,he has done it all,kevin said the same thing,he has nothing to prove,he already proved it,but he did say he would run him against june,as soon as june finishes for ifc.

you ky boys claim to have the best dogs,well look at the numbers,do you realize,ky has more beagles reggistered in nkc then all the other 49 states combined

kinda hard to get a rematch when your dog is dead,but i would like to run blue boy against june,i think ol blue could give the worlds greatest dog a good run for his money,hopefully i can grand him out soon,then it will be on like donkey kong

I don't know about the rest of Junie's pups but I like the one I've got, fast and pretty clean too. Don't know who in there right mind would spend 1200 on one though On the other hand I've also seen a very nice male out of Reggie this year at the world that ended up placing pretty high.
