Paul and I went to Sundown Kennels and visited with Don and Dave McVay and had a great time visiting and running some dogs. We also got to meet met Jim Schumaker, and Chris Harstine. It was really neat to see all their kennels, and the setups for thier dogs, Its a rabbit haven, which means these beagles Won the lottery. These guys are super nice, and make you feel right at home. Jim's farm is where the Don McVay memorial hunt we be held, and it promises to be a great time. I'm really looking forward to going.
We even got to meet Don's better half Pam, she is really sweet, and I can see where Don got his good manners.

I can't say enough good things about Don and Dave, We are very blessed to have them as friends, and look forward to spending more good times with them. Of course we had to come home with some Moore beagles. Don reminded me that we don't have to buy every time we come up, but we just couldn't help ourselves. We joked that we are quickly becoming Sundown South.
The first picture is Sundown Carrie of Lanbur, we bought her to compiliment our Parker male in our Show breeding, we have a Male out of her and Chip off the Block, so we have seen what see can produce and we like it.
The second picture is a 6 week old pup out of Triple Threat, which also contains One Tough Ombre to just name a few of some great Rabbit trailing blood. We have high hopes for her!
Paul and I were there a year ago and came home with two dogs, one out of Windkist Walk in the Park, and another from Sundown Runnin Rebel, that we are really happy with. I also added a picture of Sundown Triple Threat, which is lookin like One TOUGH Rabbit dog himself. This Stud is really special, and your gonna hear alot about him in the next few months and years. So if you haven't seen or heard of Triple Threat you read it hear first.
