That's what happens when all they get fed is watermelon seeds...

I'd just deduct off the bill whatever he was charging you for feed and tell him how displeased I was... ;)

UPDATE: deerfields female (pictured above) whelped a litter of 7 on July 9th, 4 males and 3 females. All pups and mom are doing great and seem happy and healthy. Congrats Sam, and best of luck with your new pups!

Are they out of Max ? My Max pup is still doing pretty good. I have to pick and choose when to run. We have had about 28 days of 90 plus weather here in Hells Kitchen. It has rained some the last couple of days and the running has improved.
Good luck with your litter Sam. Rick G I will call with a status report soon and send you a few pictures of Buffalo Bill. He seems to look like some of the pictures I have seen of Max.

The female (Peyote) is directly out of Ali-baba and was bred to Max for those that are not familiar with Max he is on page 14 in the the new stud dog book.. Time will tell the outcome of these little pups...

My older pup Bandit out of Max is doing great he has real good check work and plenty of fire and he handles better than any of my beagles. I have had him out a couple times a week even if its only an hour.

Smokes Creek Maximum Crank is a beautiful hound, bred and built to run, no doubt about it.

Congrats on the litter & hope they all turn out awesome!

I have witnessed about 5 or 6 dogs here in WV that max has sired and like them all. I am also fortunate enough to own one.
