I am going a different direction with my bloodlines and have a few dogs for sale. If interested you can call me @ 276-492-0852

1. She is about 2 years old. AKC reg. her sire is Reffett’s Ky Mtn Black Magic her dam is Reffett’s Ky Mtn Sarah Jane. She is a beautiful gyp and friendly. She runs good with a med. speed. She will run a cat and has "ghost trailed" a few times. You can see her pic and pedigree here:
UPDATE! Took her today. Seen her ghost trail! It happened in the same spot as the other2-------groundhog!! Shocked her off, ran real good.

3. The last is a little over 1 year (be 2 in Dec.)old AKC male that is not started. He has ran with the other dogs and in a running pen but never in the wild by himself. His sire is Smith's Huslin Little Man and his dam is Reffett’s Ky Mtn Christina (Dewsbury’s Snow Run Shaker x Thirty Ought Six Pacesetter).His pic and ped can be seen here:

dog #3 is $150

#1 and #3 came from Dexter Reffet's kennel last fall.

need to sell to make room in kennel. These are not bad dogs. #2 is a good rabbit dogs and if I had his AKC papers he would stay here. Dog 1 will run a rabitt and is bred well. Just not what I want.

no offense, but if they're good hounds,they stay in my kennels.
some of my best are grade and ive tried about every bloodline out there.
Me and a buddy were talking today how tired we were of giving our money to akc. I know to sell pups they have to be akc, grade dogs you cant hardly give away no matter how good a hound they are.

Dave .... it is sad but true that we have to give so much money to akc... but the simple truth is in the numbers.... we have pleasure hounds and just plain old running hounds but we also like to trial our hounds.. and for this we look for akc registration as well as many other things... also ... with the 600$$$$ plus price tags on hounds ... food going up ... and the stud fee's being what they are.. we have to keep things in our kennel going in the direction we want for trials... so we sell what we need to and get and/or raise what we like to hunt....
Come run with us.. you will see we have more than enough power in the kennel and no need to keep a hound we can't trial when we have no need for him.
Best way I know how to explain.. feed what you want and sell what you don't!

thanks Bill and that is true. We have some good running dogs that we run always and part of what the #2 dog and what the #1 dog for was for breeding the bloodlines for the future of what we want. If I needed another dog for running I would definately keep him, but I am looking to sell him because I just bred a gyp to a male dog that is what I like and need some space for pups. There is a post on here about mixed dogs and who has ran them. My dad said the best he ever ran was a beagle/cocker mix. I have always ran grade dogs but with trialing, that is not what we want now. Like Bill said if you get down here come run with us, we always enjoy running. These 2 males for sale are the only 2 I own, and I will not rebuy a male, I like running females. Seem to listen better.

dog #3 is sold. Thanks. Dogs 1 & 2 are still for sale. May have a dog going to Tenn. and may be able to get them to Ky. Near Dexter Reffet Sat. not 100% sure yet.

ain't that the truth,,,
If these dogs would have been priced at 500$ more people would be interested, as now they think they are culls and not worth the effort.
We will see what we can do as far as getting them up your way.

dog #3 is still for sale also. Guy never showed today. He is bred good and shows alot of speed. Took him running today and he harked in with the other dogs on 2 of the rabbits. Still has a little pup in him but improving every day.
