Flea Prevention

Post by Drop_tine »

How do you guys prevent fleas from coming in your kennels? Don't have any yet but between running and the rabbits and deer in the yard it's just a matter of time

Sevin Dust around the kennel and in the yard. But can be used directly on the hounds too. Not only gets fleas but ticks also. Wont have to worry about them pesky tater bugs either. lol

I wouldn't use it on a nursing bitch. Fleas can jump about 20 feet. I would just ring the kennel about 21-25 feet.

Sevin Dust or Eliminator in and around the kennels. Frontline Plus or Bayer T&S on the dogs and you'll be good to go.

I agree-Sevin on the ground and Frontline on the dogs.
You can get Frontline Spray pretty cheap at Drugstore.com.
