careful with the Clorox. id heard of this home remedy and asked my vet. she said alot of home remedy's she approves of but this one she doesnt. Course if you put bleach in water and it sits in the sun very long it will disappear. chlorine is in city tap water anyway.

It will cure parvo by killing the dog.
Ingestion of concentrated bleach will kill it.

Bleach in the water bowl will kill waterborne bacteria (giardia, crypt sporidum, e.coli, etc).

It will probably do nothing to prevent kennel cough because it is airborne virus.

Yep, chlorine Bleach is what most the meat processing plants in the U. S. use as a sanitizer on their equipment. SilverZuk is correct as I've seen many that have wells also use it when they get a bad water potability test result.

Dilution is 1gal bleach/10 gal water for flushing a well. Just so you know, if you just dump straight bleach down a well it stirs up bacteria at alarming rates, THAT could kill ya.
I'd wash waterbowls with bleach in the water but I don't think I would add it to the water.
