my buddy had a tie for first but lost to H&H, he went out 3rd today.

Rough River Snake owned by Willie "Slick" Troutman of Bull Run Beagle Club won first round of opens. Had lots of rabbits and running!

Just talked to the hubby and they only had about 10 or so judges for the champions this morning (they got the first 6 or 7 champion casts out yesterday)...it looks like it is going to be a long day

Andy Canterbury also brought back a champion dog (Duke)
and the McGuire's also brought back 2 or 3 open dogs yesterday...
The second casts of champions (today) are heading out right now

Jordan Scarberry got his duke dog the first round in the opens. Brad Adkins Freddy dog won his first round in the champions. Pretty good for a 9 year old dog. huh. I would have liked to seen him at 3. Breck Hammond got his got Cheif through the first round also in the champions.

Watts' Rabbit Traitor owned by Joey Stanley made it through the first round in opens.Way to go Joey,Traitor and "Chug"(his handler).That dog is tough as nails!!!!

Earl Meade's Frank the Tank dog made it through to the next round...

John Good's Droopy Ear's also won its first round

They are done for the day due to the banquet tonight. They will resume trialing in the morning with the rest of the grands and the semis...

I don't know which dogs, but the McGuire's have 5 dogs moving on and Kevin Monroe has 5 dogs moving on

I just got back so clearly I had no luck (0 for 3) but when I left today at 1:00 I know that McGwires had 5 out of 6 through, Jason Blevins had 2 opens through, Tony Upton's Max got beat in the first round, Ed Jones had 2 opens through and John Sexton got his champion through. I am waiting on a call with updates.

Here are a few I know so far:
Terry Colley got his Buffy dog through in the champions.
Eddie Smith got through the first round of champions with Bevo.
Michael Riley's Tank dog won his first round.
Kenneth Adkins had two dogs through, Ram and Speck, I think.
Lynn Perkins a dog go through, not sure which one or ones.
Good Luck to all these guys. I will post more when I get anymore info.
