Extreme Hunt and Search?

...on the ancestry of your new hound? This is your forum. Post your question and others will fill in the blanks for you. This is also a good forum for asking about particular hounds and bloodlines (past or present) when considering a breeding or purchase, or just breeding questions in general.

i know this will ruffle some feathers but here it is,

i know five different people that have bought running dogs from branko in the last two years,i have ran with these dogs too,it only took one time each for me and that was it,they where backtracking, dogtracking, trash running idiots.the people that bought them said they would never buy a running dog from them again, they are out a ton of cash.

i was told that they put a hundred or more dogs in a huge pen and just let them go,they start theirselves, wont handle for nothing either.

makes you wonder how they keep them straight,i know they advertise that you can call them and tell them what you are looking for and they will sell you a dog for a grand or more and then you get it and it is a babbling fool, not me boys, all your buying is a name.

I don`t want this to turn into a post where we are bashing Branko and Frieda. They have both been very, very nice and helpful to me.I thank them for every thing that they have done for me !!!! It is my intentions to try to improve the dogs that I have now. That is why I am looking for stud dogs with extreme hunt and search. What they do with their dogs is their business and nobody elses. It works for them in the areas that they hunt. I need some different elements than what I allready have. Lets keep the names of the stud dogs with intense hunt and search pouring in.

Thank you !!!!!

branko dog

Post by kybriarbuster »

come over to ashland and you pick em off the chain and see for yourself if they backtrack pop off and all the wrong things some say. funny but a lot of these people saying these things run some of this blood. a dog is only as good as the trainer.
not a threat or challenge i quit that crap years ago. funny ive heard the same thing about a lot of ??? very good dogs in the area. sam lebeau 304-522-4325

also be very care full.. just because a hound search good doesnt mean he can jump a rabbit. i have seen some that would make u smile. but all they were doing to running around and not getting anything done.

why dont u post names. there is a ton of guys real happy with what came from there. but then u buy a hound that was started on snow shoe and try running a cottontail with the dog and then judge the hound the second time out maybe it is best to not buy another hound period.

bill you are exactly right. dogs trained on hare sometimes take a while to get the hang of it but all mine have learned very quickly. ive heard some wont even run a cottontail for a while. ive bought 2 running dogs from branko and have 4 others that came from them as pups and have friends who have bought from them also and the only people i hear complaining about them is people who have never bought one a. these people have told me exactly what i was getting and were correct on the running dogs and the pups. just about any dog can be made to do all these faults danny has described by subjecting them to dogs like trash running backtracking babbling and as far as no hunt im coming 50 fat have epelepsy and diabetes so i dont jump rabbits for them thats what i pay them for. once again if you want to see a good branko dog run, not a son great grandson or somewhere in a 5 generation pedigree ive got them. sons heliprop lumberjack pied piper daughters of omber or cowboy and if that aint enough i can make a couple phone calls show you a lot more of these socalled idiots that can do the job. a lot of people dont like to admit it but these people produce some nice dogs. they dont buy them with titles installed they breed and train them.. sam

Gun dog in anybody's book

Post by Hatfield »

I have gunned over Junie and can honestly say he is as nice a gun dog as anyone would ever want. Doesn't miss hardly any checks. when he crosses the line he owns it. He has a gobb of hunt and does it fast. Good jump dog, good check dog, with plenty of foot, not bad looking either.

Trull's More Money Moe is one of the hardest working and hunting males I've seen,he will also jump you Rabbits. Hes a Rabbit dog. 15 in out of Syris McGee and Stone Cold Jazz she was directly out of Northern Tracker, one of the best I've seen out of Syris. He will also flat take control of a pack fast males and school them, very good in a check,he stays with it. Runs cottontails and hare, nice male. You can see him at this site.
