Opening day (derby day) was March 1 at the trout stream at Cassville Mo. was thinking about you. It will run thru Oct. hint,hint!

I have read and heard a lot about the Ky beagles and I want to make a trip up into eastern Ky to see some of them. I'd like to take a few days and visit some of the people who have some to sell. I have heard about
Dexter Reffett and a few more, but I bet there are some others I don't know about that are good. Now I can go to the dog pound and see some in the lot, I would like to see them turned loose, preferably where a rabbit might live. I've made long trips before, and when I got there, the man had some excuse why he couldn't put them down and wanted me to buy them right out of the lot. If you don't play that silly sh*t and ain't ashamed of what you got, I'd sure like to have your contact info. If you do, keep trying to find folks like Popshot.

Larry,i don't have any forsale but more then welcome to come watch what i have go.Nothing better to hear then a spring buck rabbit being ran in these Ky mtns by a pack of rabbits hounds. Contact info on my website http://www.runandgunkennels.com just give me some notice before hand.

You bet, Lynn, and I have heard yours are some of the best. I have met Pop and his friend Toby, ran, or rather tried to run with them one day this year. We had a bad day. Toby told me about getting screwed pretty bad up there, and who did it. It's not my problem, but in their defense they are young fellows just getting started in beagles and as most of us found out the hard way what you hear is not always what you get.

There are shysters in every state. We have them in Ohio too. But we have some honest guys and gals who sell to their word and breed correctly. Kentucky is full of houndsmen and it only takes a few bad apples to spoil the bunch. Hopefully popshot will do his homework next time he buys a dog and coming on here popp'n off about an entire state. I wouldn't hesitate to buy a dog from many of the Kentucky boys that visit this forum. One thing you might consider is if a member here just posts on the classified threads and contributes nothing more than buying and selling dogs this may be an indicator that the individual is not out for bettering the breed and could possibly be someone to steer clear of.

guys listen i will spill the beans everybody that has replied on this has made their comment on what they think happpen so all those that had negitive ad here is the deal got a dog out of ky guys said dog was good run my format and was not gun shy or man shy and i could have a 3 week trial on her and gave half the money then and i could mail him the rest if i decide i wanted her this dog has barked 3 times in 7 rabbit races i watch her just follow mine around she is hard to catch when you go to catch her and when shoot a gun she goes the other way as hard as she can go. i have tried an call the guy he will not return my call at.i am sorry for all the other fellows in ky that people are so crooked i know the are crooked ones in nc as well and the are some good dogs in ky but haven said that i see one of these guys tring to sell on this board every bodies getting heads up on him. for my friend to make a long story short went to ky to buy 2 pups from a guy that has very popular stud dog and all his dogs looked so bad they were nothing but bones 2 couldnt evan walk it was awful and we drove 4 1/2 hours to see this and this fellow said the dogs was in good shape on the phone so i am sorry to have made anybody mad in ky bc i have meet good people in ky and read alot about good dogs i will not tolrate dishonest from no one and i will speak my mind on my behalf as well as my friend if anybody buys a dog from here in nc and i know i will tell you anything i can to help I WILL NOT HELP A LIAR SELL A DOG

If you are so disgruntled about the person you purchased a hound from, post THEIR name not the entire STATE. Be a man and have the gonads to shed light on the person that took your money. I bet you if you took my money and I had a honest gripe I would post your name and let others beware. I would not run off at the mouth and never give out all the details.
