I was at Jay's Sporting Goods in Clare on Saturday and they had an ad on their BB for miniature beagles. Didn't give much more information than that.

Good luck.

Salem's kennel is out of business due to questionable practices. What do you call a miniature beagle???

You might have a look at this post from another board before you decide you have to have a "miniature" beagle: http://www.beagleinfo.com/cgi-bin/board ... ewques:457

There definitely issues in trying to raise or keep them.

Look, if someone wants a miniture dog then go buy a different breed. Folks have just about ruined the beagle breed by breeding for 13" dogs over the years. Beagles are meant to be 16", not 11" or 12".

mini beagles

The AKC recognizes the 15" class beagles which are between fifteen and thirteen inches. They also recognize the 13" Class beagle which is 13inches and below. You dont necessarily have to have a mini beagle. Look around and find a smaller 13" class.
Good Luck in your search!

Boy I sure have a lot of ruined beagles I like them small 12 to 13 I would say a 16 southern beagle would have one view and that would be thier tail.
To each there own but the best running I see comes from 13 bitches.

just my oppinion but it cost the same to feed a sorry rough beagle as a good line dog.
