It looks like Plowboy may be breeder of the
one so I would think he will be along soon
to fill you in . He may be able to answer
your question on both dogs . Do you have
any pedigree on the two ?

I am the breeder on Real Deal & Preacher, they both have very good hunt, good mouths, speed & very solid rabbit hounds. I sold Real Deal to Big Time a few years back. I carried a bitch back to breed to him a couple years ago (his aunt) & have a female out of him now that is almost two, she is a very good jumpdog, handles like a dream & can't be bought. Bill Passmore in Canada owns a mate to mine & same description on her. Deal is out of my old Rhonda bitch, she is ARHA Bench & field Ch, now 10 years old & has been a good one that will die here. I let Frank Thompson in WVA have a mate to Deal, he can tell you about Blue Moon.
I let my cousin Randy have Preacher & he sold him to Jason, he is an ARHA field Ch. I have his littermate Plowboys Pache Boss Man & I wouldn't trade him for a river bottom farm. I can't tell you what Preacher produces but I am sure Jason can. I can tell you what Boss Man produces & so can plenty other people that own his off-spring.
I could not say anything about the hounds you have there on the pedigrees because they are outcrosses & I don't know squat about Branko hounds & crosses like this are usually just a shot in the dark & hard to blame or give credit to either sire or dam for success or failure.
Hopefully for you they clicked & will make you something good. I will try to post you a photo of the female I have out of Deal.

This isn't by no means downing anything. I started and trained Preacher, he was a pretty good solid hound , good hunt , fair speed and handled good. The only thing in my opion he was lacking was conformation. He is a little bench legged .

Jason ,
Wasn't impling anything or trying to take any credit for what you have done with Preacher. We all do some training everytime we take them out.
I'm glad your happy and proud of him , I think he's a good solid hound like I said.

Jude,
That young lady is my daughter Emily & I can promise you that girl is never fed up with beagles. The picture was taken last summer & she was just hot, she had been lead breaking Pups all afternoon. She works all my dogs to the lead & yard commands. She gets mad at me if I even get one out of the kennel without her around. Most of mine will fetch a stick the first few times out when she gets done with them.
My son Jimmy doesn't like to do the yard work he just wants to go running the dogs (the easy part) except when blackberries are ripe.lol
