Re: Neck disc problem
We just went through a herniated disk with our pom. Unfortunately she died. She did respond to some high doses of prednisone and another toy dog we have has had success with Glucosomine/chrontroitin supplement. Its a waiting game either way hoping that the inflamation goes down. The Glucosomine doesn't hurt either.george lewis wrote:Have a four year old male with severe pain in neck has been on previcox for a second week first week didn't help has any one had a beagle with this disc problem and pull out with meds? Me too. I have bad knees and I really notice the difference when I take it. For the dog we ordered synflex on ebay. This is a liquid and easier to dose a dog with.george lewis wrote:Thanks for the information, After the second week he went four days before another episode. The Previcox is a new non steroid drug. I put him back on the meds at one half dose and seems normal , I have considered the glucosamine supplement it has helped me alot. George
