Maxximum dog food

Post by jlboomer »

Just curious what you all think about the new changes with the maxximum dog food. it had its contract bought out by another company and theyve made changes of course and jacked the price up some.

I have'nt been able to tell much difference as far as my dogs eating it. If anything they might like it a little more. Its to early to tell if they're gonna do as good on it as the old food. I think it went up about $1.50 per 20lbs here. I was wondering if any of you guys can still get it at Wal-mart in the 40lb bags?

Wally World had the 8# puppy chow on sale for $5.00 a bag and it looks like they were selling it out to get rid of remaining stock. Maybe they are changing bag style or something if they were bought out or maybe they are no longer going to sell it????
I bought 16#'s of puppy chow for $10.00. My pup seems to like it and his coat is nice and shiny.

I am going to have to switch my pup to something other than Maximum. He seems to not like it but gobbles up my adults dog food.
Probably go to Iams for a bit.

If true I will buy an different brand but when you post something you should provide factual links to support such statements. I wouldn't be surprised if what you posted is true and wouldn't be surprised if you said Purina instead of Iams. In short, nothing surprises me when it comes to this sort of thing.
