Dave the dog has good speed, he is more line control than what I like for Big Pack, this is the primary reason I am selling him besides the his size. He is 14 to 14 1/2. I can run up to 16" males in Big Pack and I was hoping he would be a little bigger.

It has been a tough decision to sell him as I think he will turn out to be a very nice hound, he can jump and run his own rabbit, has handled under the gun and turned down trash time and time again, but probably not a Big Pack Hound. I have priced him to sell his breeding, conformation and running level are worth more than the price I have on him. But I am getting a couple of pups from a breeding that I hope will turn out larger and not so married to the line.

I am pretty sure he could run in little pack, but his line control is a bit conservative for that, I have never seen a Progressive Pack trial so I do not want to say he is that style. He has the speed of many LP hounds, probably more than a lot, but he is conservative with his line control.
